Have a cellphone?
You can get rid of your ipod and you don't have to purchase a iphone.
Most mid range priced cellphone can play tons of real music ringtones.
When I say real music ringtones, I mean like Mp3 real music ringtones,
not those older crappy midi ones(although some songs are more catchy
when converted into midi).
Before I continue on about real music ringtones, you first have to
under what isn't one of the real music ringtones. The first generation
of cellphone used Monophonic ringtones. These ringtones were one
instrument playing, you could change what instrument played. For
example you could have a piano, drums or a guitar. Monophonic ringtones
are very low quality.
Next came a revolution in ringtones. Polyphonic ringtones allowed a
much broader range of instruments. Midi was the preferred format. Now
you could have cheesy sounding music that had drums, pianos, guitars
and base guitars. Ringtones still didn't have voices in them yet. This
was about to change.
Realtone ringtones(real music ringtones) are ringtones that are
generally party of a song and stored as one of many mp3 real music
ringtones. Mp3 real music ringtones tend to be the best part of popular
songs. There are many different popular ringtones, depending on the
cellphone network you subscribe to depends on the popularity of
different ringtones and availability. MTV cellphone users tend pay big
bucks for real music ringtones. The most popular mp3 real music
ringtones on the MTV network tend to be the newest and most popular
music. MTV phones are generally used by teenagers and young adults
whose lives revolve around music. If you live to listen to tunes, get a
phone that supports Realtone Ringtones with a large hard disc.
When you buy a hard disk it is important to know that a flash drive is
better than a hard drive(like the iphone uses). Flash drives are faster
to access and have no chance of getting destroyed by movement or
skipping, which is very annoying. Hard Drive phones can skip(although
now quite rare) and can be destroyed by movement. The risk has been
reduced by caching(which is also the reason for the reduction in
skipping), but if the hard drive gets bumped at that one second its
loading to the cache, it toasts.
