Boost Mobile quite possibly is the hottest wireless phone network for young cell phone users. The website suggests this anyway, with Content Advisory set above the selection of wireless entertainment. This market is jumping – the cell phone accessory market, that is.
Customers can choose from Poly ring tones, Music ring tones, Voice tones, Sound FX or Call tones, which I can only assume is the selection of music you can set for your caller to hear when they try to find out “Where you at?”
You can choose from the biggest and best artists with the click of a mouse by searching my song title, artist or category. The categories are a wide range – there is even a category for sexy – and all the ring tones under that category are by Hot Secretary. I’m intrigued already.
I try to do a little check with companies to see how multi-faceted they really are – I see if you can get me a ring tone from a musical. Boost Mobile can. I could get “No Day But Today” from the original cast of Rent which would suit a Renthead just fine, so Boost Mobile is in my good books. It is good to see that they cater to more than just those with the “Gangsta” image. Besides, I’m sure there is at least one fly guy out there who will want to trick out his phone with that popular tune now that the movie has come out – if not because it’s awesome, then to impress the honeys.
And here is the big kicker with ring tones from Boost Mobile – you can create your own by using your musical talent to mix beats, sound effects and whatever your rebellious heart desires. You can create the ring tone on the website and send it to your mobile using RingDJ Mixer. The program comes with a demo that will show you your away around this flash animation character’s turn table – how to solo tracks, boost the volume or throw them in the trash if they just aren’t working. If anything, it is an amusing little game.
Boost Mobile ring tones as described in one word – variety. You can get pretty much anything you want, and if you can’t get it prefabricated, you can try to recreate it using RingDJ Mixer. Boost will really let people know “Where You At”.
