A rainy day is great for our planet earth, soil gets moistened, plants get their daily nutrients which leads to great food for livestock and evidently for us. But a rainy day usually makes us have to be indoors, if we must be outdoors you get wet, cold, probably sick, and do not get to do much at all or you just have that feeling of not doing anything at all.
Before modern days, when there was a rainy day, people would either go to a comfortable spot and pop open a book and read all day, others who where not that fond of reading would get pretty bored or frustrated on rainy days. Thanks to modern times, scientists and technology we now have many ways of entertaining ourselves while a rainy day is going on outside.
