A normal ring tone could be described as any monophonic or polyphonic ring tone that has the sound of a normal house phone. These types of ring tones have been forgotten by most people, since the availability of much more different sounds as ring tones. The normal ring tones are usually used by business people or very serious persons. The problem here is that recent studies have proven that a normal ring tone might be much healthier for people.
Scientific studies on the effect of ring tones on people, supposedly confirmed that, a normal sounding ring tone may lead to less car accidents, less distractions, less errors and many other problems.
If you are driving and suddenly you get an incoming call and your ring tone is very loud and distracting it will probably make you unfocused from your driving and you are more opened to cause or be in an accident, which can cause the death of others or even yourself or your loved ones,
Normal ring tones are in fact a little less distracting when they are heard, simply because they do not cause so much noise and they usually either stop a little and then get going again or they start very low and get louder as they keep ringing.
Using normal ring tones also reduces the attention of people to you, which in fact if you are in a dangerous place it probably would be a good idea not to draw any attention to you, or simply why would you want to be drawing the attention of others just for the type of ring tone you have.
These scientific studies are not laws which people have to follow, but they sure make you think about your ring tone for a while. Everybody is capable of picking whatever ring tone they want, but if you are one of those persons who is always looking to be a little safer, then maybe a normal ring tone is for you. Or at least try one normal ring tone for a while, you might come to like them.
